Australian Department of Defence Extends Contract with Unisys to Provide IT Support Services to Regional Operations Nationwide
Unisys to provide IT managed services for 450 Defence locations nationally
SYDNEY, March 9, 2016 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that its Australian subsidiary has signed a two-year contract extension, estimated to be worth approximately AUD$74 million (US$54 million), with the Australian Department of Defence to provide IT support for 100,000 end users at approximately 450 Defence locations across Australia.
Under the contract, which runs until October 2018, Unisys will continue to provide IT support to all sections within the Australian Department of Defence.
