In this conversation with Unisys India Corporate Communications, Sumed Marwaha, Managing Director, Unisys India and Regional Services Vice President, Unisys takes us through the key findings of 2020 Unisys Security Index™, security concerns of Indian consumers and their implications on businesses during the COVID-19 times and otherwise. The study revealed that people have a false sense of security while working from home. Only 32% respondents were seriously concerned about a data breach while working remotely, reflecting a false sense of security. In this conversation, Sumed sketches out a set of recommendations for organizations to overcome the security challenges of remote working.

The Unisys Security Index is the longest-running recurring snapshot of consumer security concerns conducted globally to provide an ongoing, statistically-robust measure of concerns about security. It was launched in 2007 and provides a regular, statistically robust measure of concerns about four areas of security- National, Financial, Internet, Personal, with sub-parameters under each.
