As each associate enters their personal learning journey from a different place, we aim to meet them where they are. Everyone likes to learn differently, and therefore we are pleased to offer many innovative and compelling platforms for continuous learning. Unisys University – our corporate learning group – provides a myriad of internal and external education solutions through our partnership with content leaders like Skillsoft, subject matter leaders like Global Knowledge and Franklin Covey, and education consolidators like EdX. With access to more than 500,000 on-demand learning assets including books, courses, virtual labs, video, live mentors and live boot camps, our associates have a wide range of opportunities to develop their technical, business and leadership skills. These include role-based, job-specific development and training paths that could include industry recognized certification as well as Unisys digital badges. We also have a full leadership development roadmap for all levels of leaders – from aspiring leaders to executives, and every level in between.
Under the banner of our Education Re-imagined program, we offer tuition reimbursement for degree programs and certifications for university and college courses that align to business and career growth requirements. In collaboration with our business leaders, we fund globally-recognized certifications for client, partner and business growth opportunities. We partner with educational institutions, such as EdX, to provide associates access to prepaid Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and MicroMasters programs (graduate-level courses from top universities) aligned to the emerging trends in digital transformation skills for our associates. These programs not only provide degree-level knowledge and skills, most also provide recognized credits towards full degrees at some of the world's most recognized universities – MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Adelaide, INSEAD and many more.
Equity is more than a visual representation of diversity – it also means ensuring equitable opportunities for growth and development. Through numerous internal programs, Unisys is committed to growing our diversity of talent and fostering leaders of the future. We offer a number of programs and initiatives to advance future executives and leaders from historically underrepresented race and ethnic groups as well as build our pipeline of women leaders. We conduct annual accelerated leadership development programs globally for women leaders (Women in Action), and in the U.S. for aspiring minority leaders. Our Associate Impact Groups (AIGs) drive education and awareness and provide an opportunity for inclusion and belonging.

Rewarding achievements and contributions equitably
At Unisys associates can expect comparable pay for comparable work. We are committed to aligning our pay practices with external competitiveness and internal pay equity on an ongoing basis. We regularly assess our global total compensation to ensure that our pay practices fairly reward all Unisys associates across similar roles irrespective of gender or ethnicity.
The Unisys total rewards strategy is highly focused on providing competitive base salary, short-term incentives, long-term incentives and global benefits packages. As part of this strategy, short-term incentives are provided to positions of major responsibility and are paid in cash annually.
Long-term incentives, including both performance-based and time-based restricted stock units and cash-based incentives, are issued to certain key associates and vest annually over three years. We also offer one-time cash recognition bonuses to key associates, typically based on accomplishments having direct influence on the company's financial and strategic success. We do not currently provide a formal ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) nor ESPP (Employee Stock Purchase Plan) as part of Unisys' total competitive remuneration package.

Equity is only possible when it's embedded in all the people practices and policies – its part of the way we do things at Unisys. We are proud to have implemented systemic governance and management oversight across all our people processes and policies to ensure diversity, equity and inclusion for all associates. Our leaders are held accountable for finding the most qualified candidates for all roles with equal pay for equal work. Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council provides regular reporting to our CEO and senior leadership team, with quarterly analytics to our Board as commitment to our workforce diversity policy and ensuring management oversight.
