Reference in contemporary and modern art, architecture and design

The Tomie Ohtake Institute, opened in November 2001, stands out for being one of the main spaces in the city of São Paulo specially designed, architecturally and conceptually, to hold national and international exhibitions of fine arts, architecture and design. In addition to a program of free exhibitions that is notable for the Brazilian cultural scene, and which involves other activities such as debates, research, content production, documentation and publishing, the organization has, since its foundation, carried out extensive research into the teaching of contemporary art. Therefore, it was a pioneer in the creation of new processes for the training of teachers and students in public and private networks, in addition to carrying out a series of activities aimed at the general public and projects to encourage the development of contemporary production.

Culture and Inclusion Together

Unisys is a proud sponsor of this organization, and in 2023, more than 40 athletes with disabilities from Achilles International Brazil visited the venue and participated in sensorial cultural activities guided by Instituto Tomie Ohtake professionals.
