Unisys anticipates that this year, organizations will focus on three primary internal AI applications: enterprise knowledge assistants designed to catalogue company information and respond to inquiries, code development tools and AI-enhanced service operations aimed at addressing basic IT, HR, and finance challenges. Further, Unisys predicts there will be few large-scale layoffs due to AI, Unisys predicts. “We are going to see more functional deployments of AI, a focus on quality rather than cost-cutting, and the emergence of AI applications that will deliver repeatable, ROI-driven results,” Thomson says in the release.
