Unisys earns Global Leader status in ISG's Agentic AI Development and Deployment Services quadrant for midsize providers, in its October 2026 Agentic AI Services Provider Lens® report. In 2025, the study's first year, Unisys placed as a Market Challenger in a single global field.
ISG's independent Star of Excellence client survey also placed Unisys among the top three providers globally for client experience, with a score of 90.11 against an 84.74 industry average.
“Unisys operationalizes agentic AI as governed digital labor within enterprise technology services, combining scoped agent responsibilities, orchestration, human controls and systems integration to move AI from recommendations toward governed action.”

Assistant Director and Principal Analyst, ISG
ISG highlights three strengths:
- Scoped agent engineering: Unisys structures agents around discrete operational responsibilities, with defined handoffs between analysis, validation, reporting and action, so tasks stay narrow enough to govern and observe.
- Operations-native orchestration: Unisys connects agentic capabilities with the IT service management, observability, infrastructure and application management systems that run enterprise environments, where agents recommend or execute bounded actions and feed results into service workflows.
- Human-digital labor model: Unisys combines agent execution with human expertise: agents handle bounded analysis, remediation or workflow steps, while specialists retain authority where risk, ambiguity or production changes require judgment.
ISG rates providers on portfolio attractiveness and competitive strength. To qualify for this quadrant, a provider has to show enterprise-grade, agentic AI running in production with human-in-the-loop oversight and governance behind it.
