U&I is a volunteer-driven movement that aims to be the change we want to see in our communities. Established in 2011, they are a for impact movement, building communities of change in the spheres of education, environment and special needs rehabilitation. They run four programs; U&I Teach, U&I Care, U&I Empower and U&I Ignite.
Volunteering Programs
In 2023, Unisys partnered with U&I for various employee engagement activities that also serve the societies we live in. These activities included spot clean up where more than 35 associates helped collect more than 440 pounds of trash in Bangalore. We also did an infographic activity where 8 associates created STEM related infographics that will then be used to teach children in government schools. Apart from these we also partnered with U&I for a tree plantation drive as 20 of our associates planted more than 50 saplings at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases.
