Give India (Give Foundation) exists to alleviate poverty by delivering impactful social initiatives in India. Established in 2000, Give India enables individuals and institutions to donate funds to chosen causes, and delivers programs with high-impact outcomes across India. With a strong network of partners and a vast geographical presence, Give India brings people and organizations closer to realizing a poverty-free India.
Associate Giving Program
Unisys has been at the forefront of promoting the culture of giving in the organization. In order to give our associates a chance to be equal partners in our social mission, Unisys India collaborated with Give India in 2020 to launch a workplace contribution platform – the Associate Giving Program.
Through this platform, our associates can foster social change and development by supporting a range of causes like education, employment and health for the underprivileged; wellness programs for children and elderly; empowerment initiatives for women and differently-abled or environmental conservation. Associates can choose a cause of their choice to contribute. Give India verifies all the donation programs for credibility and reports on the utilization of the contributions made.
Since the launch of the program, more than 260 associates have donated more than $140,000. These funds have benefitted seven nonprofit organizations that assist with children, disability, health, women, elderly, education, and livelihoods.
