Unisys to Modernize Service Support and End User and Workspace Services for Catholic Health Initiatives
Unisys services to support leading nonprofit health system's initiative to drive digital transformation
BLUE BELL, Pa., April 20, 2017 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced a five-year contract with Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), the nation's third-largest nonprofit health system, to provide service support and end user and workspace services for CHI's 90,000-plus employees across the United States.
Signed in March 2017, the contract calls for Unisys to modernize CHI's end user service and workspace support by monitoring CHI employee devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices, in order to anticipate and pre-empt service events that could disrupt operations.
In addition, Unisys will implement the widely used ServiceNow® enterprise cloud portal, which features a live agent chat option and easy-to-use dashboards that will facilitate timely delivery of business and IT services to CHI employees. Unisys will also enable CHI to provide support specific to employees' job functions.
