Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection awards Unisys contract for managed end-user computing and infrastructure support services
SYDNEY and BLUE BELL, Pa., October 18, 2017 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) has signed a three-year contract for managed end-user computing and infrastructure support services for DIBP staff globally. The engagement has a potential value of up to AU$77.7 million (approximately US$60.4 million).
Under the contract extension, Unisys will continue to provide managed service desk and end-user computing services to DIBP through June 2021. The contract includes 24x7, first level service desk support for all immigration systems and infrastructure support for the Department's mid-range equipment.
