Unisys Names Shalabh Gupta as Vice President and Treasurer
BLUE BELL, Pa., August 14, 2017 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that Shalabh Gupta has joined the company as vice president and treasurer.
Gupta leads the company's treasury and tax functions, reporting directly to Inder M. Singh, senior vice president and chief financial officer. He succeeds Scott A. Battersby, who is leaving the company after a 33-year career at Unisys.
Gupta is a recognized expert in funding and risk management for corporate pension plans, and his innovative strategies have won awards for their utilization of pension plans. After beginning his career as an engineer, he gained his foundational treasury experience at General Motors.

Most recently, Gupta served as vice president and corporate treasurer for Avon Products. Previously, he served as corporate treasurer for Sara Lee and Evraz NA, with responsibility for capital markets, foreign exchange, global cash management, insurance, pensions, risk management, corporate finance, rating agency and board communications.
Gupta received his Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering. He completed his Master of Science in Systems and Industrial Engineering at Oakland University and earned an MBA in International Business and Finance from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
