Unisys Federal President Venkatapathi "PV" Puvvada Recognized with FedScoop 50 Award
Annual award recognizes individuals from government and industry for leadership, innovation and collaboration
BLUE BELL, Pa., November 24, 2015 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that Venkatapathi "PV" Puvvada, president of Unisys Federal, was selected for the FedScoop 50 Award in the category of industry leadership.
Goldy Kamali, founder and CEO of FedScoop, said the FedScoop 50 awards were created "to recognize the extraordinary achievements of leaders in our community who are doing big things that impact all of us."
Puvvada was nominated for the award for his leadership as a promoter of government-industry collaboration with the American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC), a public-private partnership to improve the government's use of IT. He also was cited for his contributions to the Professional Services Council, an advocacy group for the federal professional and technical services industry.

The award represents the latest in a series of recent accolades for Puvvada. In March, he received the 2015 Federal Computer Week Eagle Award recognizing "the best of the best" of those who have made significant contributions to federal government IT.
Puvvada also received Federal Computer Week Federal 100 Awards in 2003, 2005 and 2008 for his leadership in bringing groundbreaking IT solutions to the General Services Administration, the Department of Justice, the IRS, the Department of the Interior and other agencies.
