​China's HubSky Chooses Unisys to Provide IT Consulting and Support Services for New Cloud-Based Data Center in Beijing

Unisys advisory, design, implementation and management services to help HubSky establish new data center facility for China's businesses

BEIJING, 15 April, 2016Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that HubSky Network Company (HubSky) has appointed Unisys to provide data center planning, design, implementation and management services for HubSky's new cloud-based data center in Beijing. The data center is designed to enable HubSky to meet China's growing business needs. 

HubSky, a subsidiary of Beijing MeiRongJia Investment Private Ltd., and a new Unisys client, specialises in real estate and construction. China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) awarded HubSky an Internet Data Center (IDC) license to provide data center network services in China. The Beijing facility will be HubSky's first data center. 

Under the terms of the five-year contract, Unisys will lead end-to-end design and consulting activities for the new data center, providing the following services:

  • Layout, physical security and power/cooling;
  • Systems infrastructure including servers, networking, storage and security;
  • Applications, infrastructure mapping and dependencies;
  • Service management consulting and deployment, as well as service integration and management (SIAM);
  • On-site support services; and
  • Assist the data center to meet certain industry certification criteria.
