Unisys homeland security leader noted for contributions to US border security and government-industry collaboration
RESTON, Va., February 24, 2017 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) announced today that Amy Rall, group vice president, homeland and critical infrastructure at Unisys U.S. Federal, was recognized as a recipient of the 2017 Federal 100 Award for government and industry leaders who have made outstanding contributions to U.S. federal government IT.
The Federal 100 Awards are presented annually by Federal Computer Week to government, industry and academic leaders who have played pivotal roles that affect how the federal government acquires, develops and manages IT. These individuals have gone above and beyond their daily responsibilities and have made a difference in the way technology has transformed government.
Rall was recognized for her work delivering critical IT solutions to clients at the Departments of Homeland Security, Transportation and Energy, and specifically for her work with Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Rall helped CBP to deploy several solutions quickly and successfully to modernize and enhance mission capabilities and to address high-priority homeland security imperatives at the 328 U.S. ports of entry.
Rall also was noted for promoting government-industry collaboration through her work on the Homeland Security Committee of AFCEA International, a non-profit membership association serving the military, government, industry and academia. She also played key roles in support of Department of Homeland Security programs to improve the acquisition and contracting processes within the department.
