“Microservices architecture and low-code/no-code development, along with AI and ML integration, are facilitating application modernization by enabling modular and flexible design and empowering nontechnical users to contribute to the development.
Unisys foresaw this trend and acquired CompuGain™ in 2021 to effectively respond to the increasing demand for cloud-native functionality such as microservices and micro-applications deployment, specifically focusing on AWS and Azure. Additionally, it employs tools such as Qualys, Tenable and Nessus for evaluating and controlling vulnerabilities. It also remains dedicated to innovatively catering to sector-specific requirements, including mortgage processing, supply chain oversight, predictive maintenance and enhanced logistics solutions for the cargo sector.
Its significant commitments to emerging cloud-native technologies, tailored solutions for various industries and the growth of its partner network have made Unisys an innovator in Avasant’s Application Modernization Services 2023 RadarView,” said Gaurav Dewan, research director at Avasant.
