What is the Unisys Innovation Program?
The Unisys Innovation Program (UIP) is an industry-academia contest in India that inspires students to tackle tech and business challenges with their brightest ideas. This strategic initiative fosters innovative thinking and problem-solving skills among engineering students.
From its modest start in 2009 as a paper submission contest, UIP has evolved into a ten-month mentorship program. Over 76,500 members from 2,200 institutions have participated, with the latest UIPY16 edition attracting 12,760 enrolments and 896 idea submissions.
Submission focus areas for year 17 center on emerging themes in technology, including:

- Immersive Experiences

- Innovation Beyond Boundaries
Students who enter this contest will work on new technologies under subject matter experts from Unisys, who will mentor the teams and bring their ideas to life.
