Melissa Carson is the group vice president Civilian Agencies for Unisys Federal. In this role, she leads business development and delivery for Unisys’ U.S. federal civilian agency programs. Melissa also leads the team that manages and acquires Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC) and Indefinite Delivery and Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicles in support of all sectors of Unisys’ U.S. federal business.
Her previous role was chief operating officer for Unisys Federal. In this role, she was responsible for business operations, pricing, quality assurance, resource management, IT, facilities and procurement.
Melissa’s cross-functional background brings over 30 years of finance, operational, solution delivery and business development leadership to Unisys Federal. In addition to her current assignment, she has served in senior financial leadership roles for Unisys Federal, Unisys’ North America Public Sector and Global Commercial Services organizations, as well as the company’s Global Project Controller organization. As the finance leader for Unisys Federal, she was recognized as the Northern Virginia Technology Council CFO of Year in 2017.
Melissa earned a Finance degree from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
