Christie Cox is the Marketing Director at Unisys Federal. In this role, she leads her team in enhancing the position of Unisys Federal in a very competitive market. She has over 20 years of experience developing integrated marketing and communications plans that translate the overall strategy into tactical plans to drive growth while building brand awareness and preference. Christie joined Unisys from W2 Communications, where she served as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. In just 15 months, she improved the pipeline and business lead generation by 25 percent, while helping grow revenue by 10 percent through social media campaigns, data analytics and dramatic website enhancements. Prior to her work at W2 Communications, she executed a one-year contract at Highpoint Global as the Director of Marketing and Communications. She established a small growing healthcare company’s marketing and communications plans from the ground, resulting in 180% growth and further expansion into the market.
Christie’s history of impactful contributions have been recognized through numerous awards. To highlight these, she was named Communications Professional of the Year in 2015 by American Business Awards. The previous year, she was recognized for the Best Integrated Marketing Campaign by Hermes Creative Awards. Additionally, she was an ‘Impact’ winner in 2010 and 2013 for Serco’s Highest Level Annual Employee Awards, and under her leadership, her team was named Communications Team of the Year in 2009 by American Business Awards.
Christie received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas State University and is pursuing a Masters in Digital Marketing from Illinois University Online.
