Light the Night's goal is to bring light to the darkness of cancer through research and cures. The campaigns raise money to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's funding of research to find cures to blood cancer. The Light the Night Walk celebrates and honors cancer survivors, acts as a memorial to those facing a loss and gives hope and healing to those still fighting.
Our Unisys Canada, Nova Scotia team fundraises and participates in the walk because we have several associates who have been touched by blood cancer within their families and friends and we want to come together as a team to show our support. The team building that comes with this involvement is inspiring for all Unisys associates. This activity truly brings our associates together as we share in a common positive goal.
