The Unisys Law Enforcement Message Switch/Justice Exchange (LEMS/JX™) is a software solution designed specifically to support the secure sharing of law enforcement and criminal justice information, either installed on premises, in a secure Criminal Justice Information Services- (CJIS) compliant Unisys Data Center, or in a CJIS cloud environment. The solution enables users to easily access disparate data from various international, federal, state, and local government sources.

  • Allows users to access and manage information in federal, state, and local criminal justice information systems 
  • Connects disparate data sets using asynchronous messaging in the format native to each information system 
  • Supports a wide variety of message protocols using powerful, configurable, and flexible processing and interface capabilities 
  • Provides guaranteed message delivery with high availability and incredibly fast performance using message store and forward capabilities 
  • Acts as the control terminal and complete audit point for systems such as the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (Nlets)
  • Supports the latest information sharing technologies and standards including the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) 
  • Is easily installed on premises, in a Unisys Data Center, or a secure government CJIS cloud
