At Unisys, our commitment to sustainable business practices is deeply rooted in our history and continues to shape our future.

We published our first corporate environmental stewardship report 30 years ago, in 1994, to underscore our even then long-held belief in sustainability. Regardless of where a company may be on its path toward sustainable business practices, it is never too late to begin.

Our evolution in sustainability

Like most organizations, our own path toward sustainability has evolved incrementally. We did not start fully formed in every respect and continue to learn. For example, we established long-term goals to reduce our company’s scope 1 and scope 2 carbon emissions in 2006—only 18 years ago. Some lessons we learned early on, including the importance of environmental stewardship, our impact on the communities where we operate, and the value of good internal governance.

Unisys is celebrating its 151^st year, and sustainable environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices remain a core part of our identity. As a global organization, we also understand how these fundamental practices are becoming even more relevant to our stakeholders across an evolving geopolitical and regulatory landscape.

When we consider governance practices, Unisys continues to make advances to meet and exceed standards for disclosure, sustainability, and risk mitigation as a trusted steward of the business on behalf of our stakeholders.
