Bryan K. Ichikawa
Bryan Ichikawa is a globally recognized expert in smart card and security technologies and solutions. He is a contributing author for “Smart Cards – Seizing Strategic Business Opportunities” and holds two patents for data security and user privacy in communications systems.
Bryan Ichikawa is a Chief Architect and leads the Identity and Access Management practice for Unisys Federal Systems.
He provides tactical assistance to qualify, win, and deliver new business opportunities that utilize smart card, PKI, biometrics, and security technologies. Bryan is also responsible for representing Unisys in global industry and standards organizations for smart cards.
Bryan is a globally recognized expert in smart card and security technologies and solutions. He is a contributing author for “Smart Cards – Seizing Strategic Business Opportunities” and holds two patents for data security and user privacy in communications systems.
Bryan has previously held positions at Thomson Media, including management responsibilities for the CTST family of Conferences and Exhibitions, Executive Director of the Business Solutions Group for SPYRUS, and Director of Marketing for Smart Cards at Certicom Corp.
He has worked extensively with the Smart Card Alliance over the past decade. He has held many active roles within the Alliance, and currently serves on their Board of Directors, is a member of the Steering Committee for the SCA Identity Council, and is an instructor for the SCA Educational Institute.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lynchburg College, Virginia.
