Andrew has set the organization on a path toward market leadership since 2003. He has implemented a number of major initiatives to improve the performance and reputation of the business. His hands-on leadership is reflected in his active involvement in all significant opportunities and projects.

Andrew Barkla is vice president and general manager for Unisys in Asia Pacific.

He has overall responsibility for strategic direction and operations in the Asia Pacific region. He and his team help clients eliminate business and IT complexity providing specialized services delivered by trusted consultants.

Prior to his appointment at Unisys, Andrew held senior executive roles with PeopleSoft; initially as chief operating officer responsible for Australia and New Zealand, and subsequently as vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific.

Andrew has an Honors Degree in Business Administration specializing in international marketing from Wilfred Laurier University, Canada.
