Adaptive End-User Support

Technological and demographic trends are profoundly changing the nature of end-user support, and today’s enterprise must ensure that highly mobile, increasingly tech-savvy employees can work as effectively and productively as possible, no matter where they’re working or what devices they use.

As remote workers and “road warriors” enthusiastically embrace smart-phones, netbooks and other non-traditional devices for core work tasks, IT leaders are aware that traditional, highly centralized service delivery models may not be a good fit.

At the same time, from an IT perspective, the main goal is unchanged: to provide reliable access to the networks, tools and applications and data that end-users need to do their jobs as efficiently and productively as possible – and to provide it at a low total cost of ownership (TCO).

To address changing end-user needs as cost-effectively as possible, IT leaders must apply emerging best practices, such as desktop virtualization, to design and optimize processes and protocols to support the growing number of next-generation users and devices.

Read how Unisys End-User Productivity Services are designed to deliver higher performance levels and lower TCO by establishing an adaptive framework to optimize desktop services.
