P&O Ferrymasters continues to evolve its infrastructure to meet real-time business demands
Steve Walters, the IT director at P&O Ferrymasters, is a careful guy. Walters was raised in a mainframe environment and holds his Microsoft Windows & Linux based infrastructure to the same high standards of performance and availability. Unisys helped P&O Ferrymasters evolve its servers and software toward a Real–Time Infrastructure through consolidation and virtualization, to meet growing business demands. Two virtualized ES7000/one Enterprise Servers with Real–Time Capacity (RTC) offer flexibility and cost–controlled availability while enabling improved service delivery. The result was IT that delivered more efficiency and value to the business.
