Global ID Management Study
Our new Global ID Management Study debunks traditional myths concerning protection and use of identity credentials. This first global survey of its kind captures the perceptions of individuals in 14 countries spanning North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America on methods and technologies for managing identity within business and government organizations. The key findings of the research, which sometimes run counter to popular views about individual privacy concerns, include the following: People around the world are willing to share personal data for identity verification if they perceive they are gaining real value in return (e.g., additional convenience and security) People around the world are generally receptive to a multipurpose identity credential they can use for various functions People around the world are generally supportive of the use of biometrics for identity verification.
