BSN Medical Chooses Unisys for IT Outsourcing Services

IT service solution designed to enhance BSN Medical’s flexibility in responding to market changes and customer requirements

Sulzbach, Germany, January 16, 2007 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) today announced the signing of a worldwide IT outsourcing contract with Germany-based BSN Medical GmbH, an international provider of medical products for wound care, orthopedics and phlebology. Under the contract, Unisys will provide BSN Medical with a comprehensive suite of IT services. The five-year contract has an estimated value to Unisys of $35 million.

Unisys will provide outsourcing services for BSN Medical at 35 locations worldwide, supporting 3,500 BSN Medical staff. Unisys convinced us that it could fulfill these demands. We finalized the terms of the IT outsourcing agreement in only six months. BSN Medical is confident that, in partnering with Unisys, we can deliver significant benefits to our business and our customers.”

Unisys will gradually assume responsibility for operating BSN Medical’s IT infrastructure throughout 2007.

“BSN Medical clearly shares Unisys commitment to innovation and customer service,” said Jos Schoemaker, vice president and general manager, Continental Europe, Unisys Global Outsourcing and Infrastructure Services. “We are confident that Unisys management of the IT infrastructure will afford BSN Medical the flexibility to respond swiftly to continually changing market requirements and develop new ways to serve its customers.”
