A Message From Unisys Federal Systems

Unisys considers government-wide acquisition contracts (GWACs) to be vital links to our federal agency accounts.  In 2006, Unisys ranked fourth in total GWAC sales according to FedSources.  The company has been committed to GWACs since their inception.

We expect GSA’s Alliant program to be of major importance on the GWAC landscape.  Alliant is a new breed of GWAC, driven largely by the management policies and initiatives of the Office of Management and Budget and designed to address the business process from beginning to end, rather than in stovepipes.  Over time, through our Center of Excellence and open technology initiatives, Unisys intends to continue to develop and acquire new technologies that address its agency customers’ requirements and Alliant is uniquely designed to easily absorb these new technologies and solutions, so that we can get them to the customer as quickly as possible.

Alliant represents a new value proposition – one that certifies compliance with OMB and congressional priorities, such as the Federal Enterprise Architecture, the Federal Information Security Management Act, the transition to IPv6, and leveraging collective buying power through strategic sourcing.  Unisys is excited about this opportunity to serve our federal clients more completely and effectively and looks forward to the award of Alliant.
