Biography

Based in Sydney, Mr. Koehn has overall responsibility for developing and leading the Unisys Public Sector practices in Asia-Pacific with specific focus on Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, and Singapore.  Unisys Public Sector eliminates business and IT complexity, by working in partnership with government agencies to provide technology solutions and services to help them better serve their constituents.

Mr. Koehn has more than 25 years of experience specializing in large scale systems integration and business process improvement consulting.  He rejoined the Australia – New Zealand practice in 2005 from Unisys US Federal Government practice based in Reston, Virginia in the US, where he managed the company’s engagements with the federal departments of Justice and Courts.
 
In prior positions at Unisys, Mr. Koehn was vice president and general manager responsible for all Unisys public sector business in Australia and New Zealand from 2000 through July 2002. He also served as Unisys vice president, client business, State of California with responsibility for the client relationship and growing profitable revenue in California state agencies. In addition, he was responsible for key relationships with the legislature and the Governor’s office.
 
Earlier in his career, Mr. Koehn was a consultant with Deloitte Consulting and served in varying management roles, with responsibility for eight US state governments, the U.S. Air Force and several large counties.  He specialized in systems integration and health and human services programs such as welfare, child support, employment and cross program integration.
 
He is a frequent conference speaker and has spoken at Australia government security conferences and several US conferences focused on health and human services.  He has also published several articles relating to a government security ecosystem.
