Tom Frederick

Biography

Tom Frederick is senior manager for interoperability solutions in Unisys Federal Systems, based in Reston, Va.  In this role, Tom has responsibility for business development and delivery of voice and data communication interoperability solutions. He brings to Unisys more than 15 years experience focused on revenue acquisition, customer retention and market channel development.

Since 2002, Tom has served as engagement manager for the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) IT Managed Services (ITMS) contract where he focused on the design, deployment and delivery of cutting edge information technology, communications and managed services solutions.  ITMS is the contract vehicle established and managed by Unisys to support TSA’s CIO organization and the Department of Homeland Security.

Tom joins Unisys from Iconixx TSG, a Thayer Capital holding, where he was general manager with responsibility for developing regional and marketing sales plans, establishing target client sales prospects for the region and creating market awareness initiatives.  Prior to that position, Tom was president of Telemerge, Inc. (formerly Interfax, Ltd.), where he led the overall management and tactical launch of Telemerge and managed overall U.S. based sales and marketing initiatives.
