Biography

Tom Osborne is vice president and partner, DoD International Programs, with responsibility for DoD delivery in the European theater, as well as MNIS and NATO – all of which have the bulk of their delivery activity performed overseas.  Tom worked in theater for a number of years with Unisys, and his tenure with the company has been marked by delivery of large-scale, complex programs.

 

Tom has been with Unisys for 27 years. Previously, he was the deputy program director for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Information Technology Managed Services (ITMS) program within Unisys Federal Systems.  In this capacity, he led all service activities for TSA ITMS.

 

Prior to joining the TSA team, Tom was a director for Unisys Systems & Technology programs, where he was responsible for the managed services center in Montgomery, Ala. and the Niceville, Fla. Software Development Center. In addition, he was responsible for the Social Security Administration (SSA) and NASA SEWP I & II contracts.

 

Earlier, Tom served as director, Social Security Programs, with responsibility for managing the successful completion of one of the largest IT roll-outs of its time.  He managed the integration, implementation and installation of 2,100 LANs, 400 servers and 80,000 workstations to 1,800 nationwide locations for the SSA IT modernization program.  This major installation was completed on-time with minimal disruption to the SSA mission.
