Biography

Robert C. (Bobby) Stovall is a partner in Unisys Federal Systems, where he is responsible for delivery management of multiple contracts to the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) agency.  In this capacity, he is responsible for deployment, maintenance, help desk, deskside support, imaging and engineering services spanning 18 CONUS and OCONUS DFAS locations.  He is located in Reston, Va.

 

During his 11-year career with Unisys, Bobby has held positions of increasing responsibility.  Prior to his current assignment, he managed a delivery organization of approximately 150 employees, with responsibility to deliver infrastructure services consulting engagements for multiple federal government clients.

 

Earlier, he was accountable for sales and business development for new inter-networking services, generating $8.5 million revenue per year.  By developing methodologies and implementation guidelines for numerous inter-networking services that were leveraged across several global theaters, he built up the network performance analysis practice, focusing on delivering valuable predictive analysis services to Unisys clients.

 

Before joining Unisys, Bobby spent three years with Bell South, where he was the deployment project manager on the PICS/SIMM program, an inventory control system that included more than 800 locations.  He managed a team of 20 implementation teams and provided technical solutions for upgrade and long-range support issues.  Previously, he was the implementation manager for the planning and provisioning re-engineering project, where he deployed new technologies across a nine state southern region.
