Biography

Michelle L. Moore is Program Director in the Motor Vehicle Solutions Practice at Unisys Corporation. She has a proven track record supporting the motor vehicle business; technical objectives, operations, and processes; and crafting innovative IT solutions.

 

Michelle is responsible for program direction and strategy.  She develops, qualifies and captures new business opportunities.  She identifies motor vehicle solutions for the corporation and manages customer relationships.  In addition, Michelle maintains current knowledge of motor vehicle market issues, trends and best practices as well as mentors domain consultants.

 

Ms. Moore has more than 22 years of progressive motor vehicle experience, including 18 years of service at the State of Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV). Prior to joining Unisys, Michelle spent seven years as CIO at the Indiana BMV. She was responsible for the legacy systems replacement project, which integrated all of the agency’s applications using an integrated driver and vehicle consolidated customer solution in a Microsoft architecture under Windows 2003, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.

Michelle has been an active member of the state motor vehicle community through her participation and leadership in the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) and the Industry Advisory Board to AAMVA.

 

Michelle was named a “Sagamore of the Wabash”; the highest honor awarded by the Governor of the State of Indiana, for her public service, leadership, and dedication during her tenure with the State of Indiana.
