Linda HowardPartner, Homeland SecurityFederal Systems BiographyLinda Howard, a partner with the Unisys Federal Systems, is responsible for Unisys programs with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Federal Emergency Management Agency. Linda is based in Arlington, Va.
She joined Unisys in 2004 and prior to her current assignment had responsibility for overall coordination of Unisys Global Outsourcing & Infrastructure Services into the Department of Homeland Security.
Linda joined Unisys from Identix Inc., where she held a dual responsibility as the president, Identix Public Sector, Inc. & Legislative Demographics Services, Inc. and the executive vice president, Global Services Group, Identix Corporation. She provided strategic direction, sales leadership and operational delivery to the federal government and selected commercial organizations. The solutions offerings delivered by her organization included biometric solutions, program management, logistics support, acquisition management and legislative analysis. Additionally, she was responsible for the company’s Federal Biometric practice. This included the operational delivery, government compliance, government contracting, federal sales management and federal marketing oversight. She led the development of in-depth relationships with existing clients to grow existing business and improve customer satisfaction, as well as leverage those relationships to identify new prospects. While in this position, she also positioned and executed the sale of the subsidiary company, Identix Public Sector.
Earlier, Linda spent thirteen years with Electronic Data Systems. Her last position was as vice president and general manager, where she focused on systems applications and solutions development for the financial and personnel markets in the Department of Defense. Areas of Expertise
