Biography

John Geiger is a partner with Unisys Federal Systems, responsible for IRS Modernization Programs and Federal Financial Institutions.  In this capacity, he assists clients with business strategies and related systems development for delivering internet based products and services to the Internal Revenue Service, Federal Regulatory Agencies and their clients. 

 

Prior to his current role, John led the Global Public Sector Administration and Finance Programs, helping clients move from strategy  through implementation with solutions that enable them to manage mission-critical processes, including registration and personal identification, and tax administration.  From 1995-1998, John was the partner leading Integrated Information Systems with the Justice and Public Safety practice, where he was responsible for delivering systems to support law enforcement.  Major programs focused on state level message switches; legacy system migration to open system architecture and mobile data computer integration with law enforcement records and communications systems.

 

John has also been director of strategic planning with Unisys Government Services Group. In that role, he directed business-planning processes in support of federal clients including the Department of Defense. He assisted in the evaluation of the division’s business segment strategies and coordinated market research among group business units to support investment strategies. John has been with Unisys for 30 years.
