Alan Schechter

Biography

Alan Schechter is a manager with the tax, revenue and labor program, Global Public Sector, and is responsible for developing and marketing solutions for state and local tax and revenue agencies. Alan is based in Bedford, N.H.

Prior to that position, he was the solutions director responsible for marketing and delivery of the Unisys suite of imaging and workflow products. Before joining Unisys, Alan served as program director at Eastman Software where he developed the long-term vision and strategy for a family of imaging and COLD products.

Alan’s previous experience includes serving as manager, product planning at Wang Laboratories. Here, he developed and maintained the marketing and development product roadmap for all of Wang Software’s work management products.  Prior positions at Wang Laboratories included software development manager, product specialist and software engineer.
