SmartSourceTM Series

The SmartSource series leverages Unisys industry expertise with web-based image tools and devices to provide a fully-featured scanner that surpasses, in functionality, all other device in the industry.  It is available in three versions, Expert series, Professional series and Value series. 

The SmartSource Expert and Professional series have these features in common:

• Available speed range of 30, 45, 70 or 120 documents per minute (dpm) – upgradeable to any speed within the range
• Automatic feeder interval – 1, 50 or unlimited documents
• Front and rear image capture
• Multiple image renditions – scalable imaging up to 300 dots per inch (dpi) with optional color
• One to four line endorsement
  • Programmable based upon MICR codelines
  • Height adjustment
  • Multiple print quality options – economy, standard, or premium
  • Intelligent print cartridge - indicates when ink is low
• Front franker
• One or two pockets
• Auto-sensing start/stop with manual override button

For users with lower volume requirements, the SmartSource Value series shares the same smart common platform and provides these features:

• 30 dpm processing throughput
• Single item feed and pocket
• Front and rear image capture
• Multiple image renditions
• One to four line endorsement

UEC Series

The UEC Series comes in two models and offers these features:

• UEC 6000 – Front image capture
• UEC 7000 – Front and rear image capture
• Standard USB connection – flexible connection to PC-based applications
• Progressive MICR Method – state-of-the-art MICR technology
• Optional features:
  Franking acknowledgement printer – eliminates the chance of twice processing
  Bi-directional Magnetic Stripe Reader – magnetic information with a single swipe
