Unisys Network Document Processor (NDP) transports create images that comply with industry standards and are compatible with the production of substitute checks. Unisys provides enhanced Image Quality capabilities that verify image quality at the time of capture (Image Quality Flags).  
 
Unisys transports detect and flag image quality defects for all image renditions. We detect and report all conditions specified by X9.37 Specification for Electronic Exchange of Check and Image Data at track speed.  When any of the listed defects is detected in a user specified quantity, the transport can be stopped.

The Unisys image quality software can be customized to your institution’s requirements.

• You are in charge of your image quality.
• You make the determinations that balance between ensuring image quality and the effort for false positives.
• You choose to "enable/disable" each image quality metric/flag.
• You may modify "decision rule" parameters and thresholds that determine the setting of each image quality flag. For example, how big is too big? Or how dark is too dark?
