The SmartSource series leverages Unisys industry expertise with web-based image tools and devices to provide a fully-featured scanner that surpasses, in functionality, all other devices in the industry.  It is available in three versions: Expert series, Professional series and Value series 

The SmartSource Expert and Professional series have these features in common:

• Available speed range of 30, 45, 70 or 120 documents per minute (dpm) – upgradeable to any speed within the range
• Automatic feeder interval – 1, 50 or unlimited documents
• Front and rear image capture
• Multiple image renditions – scalable imaging up to 300 dots per inch (dpi) with optional color
• One to four line endorsement
  • Programmable based upon MICR codelines
  • Height adjustment
  • Multiple print quality options – economy, standard, or premium
  • Intelligent print cartridge - indicates when ink is low
• Front franker
• One or two pockets
• Auto-sensing start/stop with manual override button

For users with lower volume requirements, the SmartSource Value series shares the same smart common platform and provides these features:

• 30 dpm processing throughput
• Single item feed and pocket
• Front and rear image capture
• Multiple image renditions
• One to four line endorsement
