This feature provides sign-on security by associating every specific execution of a transaction program with an individual user. By creating a security record for each transaction user, you are making sure that data access is based on the transaction user’s identity and that it supports the accurate auditing of transaction activity.

Secure Transaction Server for ClearPath MCP

The security built into this transaction server lets your administrators control access to programs and specific transactions based on network connections and users. The administrator controls what data the program can access using standard MCP file and process security mechanisms. It also provides them additional security monitoring and auditing facilities to strengthen security further.

Secure Web Transaction Server for ClearPath MCP

We’ve also built security into this software that provides Web-based access to your transaction-based applications. Web Transaction Server supports transaction user authentication so that the transactions it schedules can be run with the proper security attributes. This software makes possible both transaction authorization and auditing.
