Simple Web Access to ClearPath Applications Web Enabling Components for ClearPath MCP

Web Enabling Components for ClearPath MCP are a collection of pre-built Microsoft COM and JavaBean components that can be used by client and middle-tier developers to build Web-enabled software that communicates with MCP applications. The components provide services ranging from basic communication to full T27 terminal emulation. Each component exposes a rich programmatic interface providing developers with full control over the properties, events and methods of each component.

You can use Web Enabling Components with Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP), Java Server Pages (JSP) and Java Servlets in middle-tier environments. Additionally, you can use Web Enabling Components for client-side development such as in Visual Basic applications and Java applications and applets. The Web Enabling Components conform to the JavaBean and COM component models, so you can incorporate them into drag-and-drop, visual development environments that support these component models, such as Microsoft's Visual Basic and Borland's JBuilder.
