Transaction Integration J2EE Connector for Open Distributed Transaction Processing

The Connector for Open Distributed Transaction Processing (OpenDTP) provides bi-directional access between your Java applications and ClearPath MCP or OS 2200 OpenDTP applications with these capabilities:

  • Participates in electronic, Java-based B-2-B or G-2-G exchanges with other enterprises or organizations
  • Maintains database integrity across platforms without incurring system downtime or doing manual updates
  • Continues full-service business operations while you’re implementing new methods and systems
  • Coordinates updates to your MCP or OS 2200 databases with updates to your Java environment databases
  • Invokes your MCP or OS 2200 transactions and accesses your databases from Java-based, Web application portals
  • Reuse your existing ClearPath MCP or OS 2200 applications when implementing new requirement

Any Java EE-compliant application server that supports the Java EE Connector Architecture can participate in the integration between Java applications and an OpenDTP application.
