Faster Check Processing Through Technology

Unisys has launched the NDP300/600 check-processing system, which can process checks up to 20 percent faster than its predecessor.

The NDP300/600 is designed specifically for community bank check processing; international check clearing; the clearing of giros, which are used frequently for bill payment in Europe; and remittance processing. The system incorporates new technology in its feeder mechanism and features power-encoding and auto-sensing technology, enabling faster processing times than previous midrange Unisys NDP systems. The system offers flexibility to upgrade its processing from 300 to 600 documents per minute.
