Measurable success

The ES7000 is the fastest OLTP database server for e-commerce.  In this measure of e-business computing power and performance, an ES7000 running Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server and a SQL Server 2000 database clearly demonstrated its ability to meet the demands of an e-commerce platform.

Built for the Web

Incorporating functions that are specific to Web-based commerce – such as secure credit card transactions, persistent "shopping cart" simulations, consumer-to-business transactions, business-to-business transactions, "24-by-7-by-forever" availability, dynamic advertising, and large Web objects — make the TPC-W test the industry's best approximation of a real-world server environment.
