Nedbank Group Limited has implemented a new, data warehousing environment in its Retail Banking Division. The technology is enabling the company to understand its customers, deliver consistent service across all channels, and measure performance, profitability, and operational risk.

 

Clalit Health Services chose the ProClarity analytics application as the initial application to be deployed in the Unisys ES7000 based computing environment. This robust platform will allow Clalit to extend ProClarity business intelligence tools to more than 600 users for the first time — a feat they could not accomplish employing their legacy Sun E10000 server. As a result, all Clalit managers will use ProClarity to gain near real-time access to medical information and perform online analytical processing (OLAP) every day.

 

Skipton Building Society has achieved a £3 GBP ($5.4 USD) million reduction in IT costs per year by consolidating its entire IT environment on eight Microsoft Windows based Unisys ES7000 servers. The savings gained with this technology is equivalent to five basis points (0.05) on the borrowing costs of a mortgage—a savings that can now be passed on to Skipton’s home loan and retail customers.
