​Beijing Hyundai Auto Finance Selects Unisys for New Service Desk Solution

​New solution will be integrated with core business systems to enable call center consultants to respond to customer queries more efficiently

BEIJING, January 21, 2015 –Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that its Chinese subsidiary has been selected by Beijing Hyundai Auto Finance to design, implement and support a new service desk solution for its call center. The solution is designed to improve the efficiency of consultants taking calls from customers seeking automotive financing or leasing.

The contract covers a six-month implementation period and one year of application support and maintenance. Beijing Hyundai Auto Finance is a new client for Unisys.

Drawing on its leadership in managing IT service desks for clients worldwide, Unisys will integrate the service desk application with Beijing Hyundai Auto Finance's core business applications, including loan options, customer credit records and the company's payment collection system. Call center staff will be able to respond to customer queries more quickly and check a caller's credit history in real time to determine what financial products they are eligible for.
