Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) said today that President Barack Obama has announced that he intends to appoint
Unisys President and CEO Peter Altabef to serve on the President's
National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC).
The NSTAC comprises senior executives from leading companies in industries including telecommunications, network services, information technology, finance and aerospace. The committee advises the U.S. government on a wide range of policy and technical issues relating to five key themes: strengthening national security; enhancing cybersecurity; maintaining the global communications infrastructure; assuring communications for disaster response; and addressing critical infrastructure interdependencies and dependencies.
