Unisys among 20 companies to compete for task orders on Information Technology Support Services-4 contract
BLUE BELL, Pa., June 8, 2011 – The Department of Justice (DOJ) awarded a contract to Unisys (NYSE: UIS) to compete for task orders under the Information Technology Support Services-4 (ITSS-4) contract for information technology support services such as applications modernization, integration, and operations and maintenance.
Unisys is one of 20 companies awarded an ITSS-4 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a seven-month base period and six one-year options, exercisable at the discretion of the government. This IDIQ contract has a total potential value capped at $1.1 billion over seven years. The contract is open for use by any organization within the DOJ, as well as other government agencies.
Unisys is a contract holder under the current DOJ ITSS-3 IDIQ contract which was awarded in 2004 and expires in September of this year.
“This award keeps us in position to continue to provide DOJ with innovative solutions to help the department achieve its vital objectives related to enforcing the law,” said Venkatapathi “PV” Puvvada, vice president and managing partner for Civilian Justice, Finance and Administration, Unisys Federal Systems.

All forward-looking statements rely on assumptions and are subject to various risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from expectations. In particular, under IDIQ contracts there is no guarantee that the government will award any task orders. Further, because agreements with government agencies are terminable before the end of their terms and are subject to the availability of appropriated funds, there is no guarantee that the contract will continue for its full term or that any awarded task orders will continue for their full term. Additional discussion of factors that could affect Unisys future results is contained in periodic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
