Unisys Security Insights measures concerns around personal data security across verticals such as banking, government, airlines, healthcare, telecom, retail and utilities. The survey was conducted in Australia, Brazil, Colombia, France, Germany, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Telecommunications companies, government agencies and banks are perceived to be the most vulnerable organizations to personal data breaches, across majority of the 12 countries. Other organizations such as healthcare companies, utilities and airlines are considered less vulnerable to data security threats.

The likelihood of personal information being accessed by unauthorized persons in the next 12 months is highest in the Netherlands, Germany and Brazil, as more than half of the respondents from these countries perceive vulnerability across different organizations. The perceived threat of a personal data breach is lowest in the U.S. and U.K.​​​​​
