Mark Forman: Looking Beyond Digital Transformation
Unisys public sector leader discusses how the government will accelerate its move into the digital era in 2016
In a two-part interview with Federal News Radio, Mark Forman, global head of Unisys Public Sector, discussed the evolution to digital government. Forman, formerly the e-government lead at the U.S. Office of Management and Budget during the second Bush Administration, noted that the move to digital government remains in its early stages but with some early successes in which agencies changed manual processes to digital to provide services to citizens more efficiently. Forman also talked about the urgent need for more information sharing between national and local governments; the cybersecurity aspects of e-government; and how these challenges will play into the transition to a new administration following the Presidential election.
